2022 Canada Post rate changes

At the beginning of every calendar year, most shipping carriers in Canada make updates to the rates and services that they offer. Canada Post will be making their updates on January 10, 2022.

If you recall in September 2021, Canada Post retail prices increased by a weighted average of 3.5% for Domestic parcels and 2.8% for USA/International parcels. As a Canadian Shopify merchant, the introduction of these retail increases were successfully delayed until January 10, 2022. However, please note that we anticipate the 2023 increase to occur in September 2022. Rest assured, we will keep you informed about any changes.
