* Chinese New Year, the national holiday time is from 9 Feb to 15 Feb. For trading companies and factories, they normally start holiday from 30 Jan till 19 Feb, around 20 days.
Lantern Festival, people normally eat dumplings. And children go out at night carrying paper lanterns, etc.
Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day in English. During Qingming, Chinese families visit the tombs of their ancestors to clean the grave sites and make ritual offerings to their ancestors.
Dragon Boat Festival, it’s a commemoration of the ancient poet Qu Yuan, the holiday is celebrated by holding dragon boat races and eating sticky rice dumplings called zongzi.
Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Moon cake Festival, is a harvest and reunion festival celebrated in Chinese culture.
*National Day, it’s a festival to commemorate the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The celebration date is 1 October every year.
