To maximize the power supply available for your Pinecil v2 device, we suggest purchasing the PinePower bank.
- The USB-C port when connected to any supply, is enough to power the display screen, but but may not heat up your Pinecil tip to the desired temperature
- QC 12V phone chargers will not provide enough power to support your Pinecil device (See power selection for details about power options)
- 5 Volts of power supplied through the USB-C port can support firmware updates, and menu viewing, but is not enough to run your Pinecil soldering iron and will display a "DC Low" message
